A delegation of judges from Bangladesh visited District Civil Court on Wednesday. A delegation from Bangladesh called on to the District and Sessions Judge Sanjay Shukla and Chief Judicial Magistrate Varun Punase. The delegation of visitor judges from Bangladesh visited the District Court to understand judicial procedure. The delegation also visited District Legal Service Authority (DLSA), Jabalpur and learned about ADR system.
 
DLSA Secretary Sharad Bhamkar and District Legal Assistance Officer Pradeep Singh Thakur welcomed guest judges. On the occasion, a mediation awareness camp was organised. In this Apex Court, related institution MCPC Potential Trainer, Shaheed Mohammed apprised about Indian Mediation Process. Secretary of DLSA Sharad Bhamkar informed that DLSA Jabalpur is running free legal service and legal awareness programmes and schemes run by State Legal Service Authority and National Legal Service Authority, New Delhi.
 
Schemes like Senior Citizen Scheme and the works initiated by DLSA along with Peedit Pratikar Yojana 2015. Visiting delegates in an open session shared their views appreciating the schemes and programmes run by DLSA assured that the schemes and its benefits will be shared before the Judiciary in Bangladesh. The visitors also saw Mobile Lok Adalat vehicle and learned about its utility. Members also saw annual activity report of DLSA and also learned about the gathering of legal and data, front office free help desk system of DLSA, etc.
