Enthusiastic children in large numbers, accompanied by their parents and guardians, reached the office of ‘The Hitavada’, Central India’s leading English daily, located at Sector-2, Avanti Vihar here on Sunday for obtaining membership of ‘The Hitavada’ Twinkle Club which is featuring in the Limca Book of Records as largest Children’s Club of India. The children were delighted to get the membership of the Twinkle Club. A grand welcome was accorded to the children and their accompanying parents on reaching The Hitavada campus.
The children also enthusiastically participated in a ceremonial cake cutting to mark the beginning of the membership drive. The children received the goodie-bag from Raipur Mayor Aijaz Dhebar, Raipur Senior Superintendent of Police Arif Shaikh Husen, MLAs Kuldeep Juneja, Vikas Upadhyay, Satyanarayan Sharma, former Chairman of Chhattisgarh Film Development Corporation Rajesh Awasthi, corporator Pramod Mishra, Vice President of Urla Industries Association Dr S K Sharma, Director of Veer Chhatrapati Shivaji English Medium School Mukesh Shah and other guests. Special arrangements were made for the fun of children on The Hitavada premises which they enjoyed.
The Hitavada Twinkle Club is giving various attractive and beautiful gifts and offers for its new members. The Twinkle Club charges a nominal membership fee of Rs 200 per year from its members and in return they get heaps of gifts and freebies; special discount coupons that offer year round benefits to the members and free entry to various special events and programmes organised by the Twinkle Club round the year. Date for lucky draw will be declared later.
