Leader of Opposition Gopal Bhargava has scaled up attack against Congress government led by Kamal Nath.

Taking strong objection over Government decision to increase the recovery time frame for Reliance Group’s Sasan power project to repay liability of Rs 450 crore, Gopal Bhargava described Kamal Nath Government as government of capitalist and industrialists. “CM Kamal Nath himself is an industrialist. Hence, more than people and poor he is concerned to increase capital of industrialists,” alleged Gopal Bhargava. He told that on one hand CM Kamal Nath says that financial situation of State is not in good shape and on other hand, he is rolling out freebies to industrialists. He charged government of turning liabilities of industrialists into installments. “This is brutal attack on State’s financial interests. State Government decision to turn liability of Rs 450 crore of Ambani group into installments is attack on State’s interests,” he quoted. Mining no words in criticising the State Government, he told that not even a single job could be provided by industrialists in state in last one year. But CM Kamal Nath is unabated working to increase benefits to industrialists and to increase their income as well. He said that if Government wants to roll out relief then he should give relief to farmers and poor people. He claimed that anti farmer policies of state government has broken the back bone of farmers in State.
