Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) Commissioner Saurabh Kumar convened a meeting of Chhattisgarh Hotel and Restaurant Association (CHRA) to aware them about the Government’s advisory regarding COVID-19 prevention on Tuesday. The Hotel Managements were directed to promptly report to the authorities in case they receive any guests from outside the State and on finding symptoms of viral infection in them so as the arrangements for their treatment could be made within the Capital city.
 
RMC Commissioner Kumar asked the Hotel Operators to install garbage incinerators if their daily waste generation is 50 kilograms or above with their own expenses. If one establishment couldn’t do it, two or three can pool up. Hoteliers can separate the wet and dry waste before disposal. On the same day, Zone-1 Commissioner Subhash Chandrakar, on the direction of Mayor Aijaz Dhebar and Commissioner Saurabh Kumar, held a meeting of Zone-1 located temples’ committees, transporters, and travel booking agents. All of them were taught about the preventive measures against COVID-19 outbreak according to the directions of the Health Department.
