In order to prevent spread of Coronavirus South East Central Railway (SECR) has made arrangements for Help desk at Raipur Railway Station. Isolation ward have been developed at Railway Hospital. Public awareness posters have been installed at many places of railway station and colony. Railway staff has been supplied with good quality mask to avoid infection. Passengers have been made aware during journey by railway staff in Bilaspur, Nagpur and Raipur Divisions. Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Shyam Sunder Gupta has directed the railway staff to maintain cleanliness in public circulating areas. Special team have been engaged in sanitization work.

Chairs used by passengers are regularly cleaned by sanitizers. Foot over bridge rallings, escalators and others places which comes in contact with passengers are thoroughly cleaned by the staff. Regular announcement and information on video display are displayed to create awareness among passengers. Medical Officer, epidemiology and immunisation of NMC and WHO Surveillance Medical Officers had meeting at Nagpur in which doctors of all divisions took part.
 
AAI starts collecting travel history of passengers at SVA Airport Authority of India (AAI) has begun screening passengers and collecting travel history of all the passengers arriving at Swami Vivekananda Airport (SVA) on Tuesday. The passengers are being asked to fill up a form to disclose their travel history. On the direction of the State Government, AAI has made arrangements for the passengers so as they can fill up the disclosure form on their arrival at the SVA. AAI has also taken support of the Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) personnel and the State Health Department in this task. As per directives, passengers who have recent travel history to foreign nations will be kept under monitoring by the Health Department. The exercise will remain effective till March 31, 2020. Any passenger with a travel history of nations like UAE, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait will be put under quarantine facility for a minimum period of 14 days. Travel of passengers from European Union, Turkey and United Kingdom has been proscribed from March 18. No airline shall board a passenger from aforementioned nations to India.
