NUMM opposes against delay in enactment of Fee Regulation Act

Nagrik Upbhokta Margdarshak Manch (NUMM) members will register protest against continuous delay in issuing rules despite Private School Operation and Fee Regulation Act in the State have been enacted but lack of rules for enforcement the enactment of this act is getting delayed. If in 15 days the State Government does not issue rules to enact Private School Operation and Fee Regulation Act then at State-level protest will be staged by NUMM. Madhya Pradesh Government fees and other operations in the private school operated in schools including school fees and other Act 2017 notification issued and under Section 18 with immediate effect gazette notification was issued in 2018 to regulate school fees but in the current session yet no notification has been issued yet under Section 18.
 
NUMM has again filed PIL before Madhya Pradesh High Court to control uncontrolled activities of private schools. On his High Court sought reply from the State Government but no reply has been filed by the State Government yet. NUMM Coordinator Manish Sharma informed that in 2015-16 Madhya Pradesh Directorate Public Instructions for fixation of school bus charges have constituted a committee under the chairmanship of Collector.
 
For the coming session yet no meeting of this committee has been organised. CBSE and Ministry of Human Resources in the year 2014 instructions were given by the school books and uniforms by the Supreme Court of India have given advisory pertaining to weight of School bags and the violation could be seen in schools. Members informed that Social Media campaign run by the NUMM receiving tremendous response. The parents, guardians of Narsinghpur, Bhopal, Ujjain, Indore, Rewa, Baitul, Katni, Indore, Gwalior, Seoni, Chhindwara, Naurajabad, and other cities supporting the campaign.
