To avoid panic and scare of coronavirus among the board examinees, Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has taken a great initiative of providing counselling to the high school and higher secondary examinees by its academic panel. The academic panel including counsellors, psychologists and subject experts is counselling the students to not panic and remain stress-free and at peace. The panel is suggesting the students to be calm and prepare for their examinations which have been postponed to further notice. Various other queries and problems are being addressed by the panel.

The students of high school and higher secondary who are worried for their postponed examinations or have any confusion or query related to the examinations or any other issue can contact to the helpline to avail. Notably, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has taken precautionary step to prevent the spread of coronavirus by making an appeal of imposing ‘Janta Curfew’ on March 22 from 7 am to 9 pm. Thus, keeping in view this appeal, the board has suspended the counselling helpline service on March 22, Sunday.

There will be holiday on Sunday while the helpline will be resumed from the next day, Monday. Notably, the high school and higher secondary bord examinations 2020 scheduled between March 20 to 30 have been postponed in the wake of pandemic outbreak of Covid-19. Keeping in view the preventive measures over the spread of the contagious disease of coronavirus, following the instructions of the School Education Department issued in the interest of public health and to prevent the spread of Covid-19, the board has postponed the examinations scheduled in between March 20 to March 31, 2020 from the immediate effect. Similarly, the evaluation of the board examination answer sheets which was scheduled to start from March 21, 2020 has also been suspended from the immediate effect till March 31. The board will release the schedule of the postponed examinations and evaluation work later.
