Bhopal will remain under complete lockdown for next two days as a
precautionary measure to check further spread of the virus.

WITH spurt in cases of coronavirus in the State, Collector Tarun Pithode has ordered to seal all district boundaries and Bhopal will be under lockdown until March 24 midnight. Orders were released after first case of coronavirus was found on Sunday morning. Everything except essential services will remain closed till March 24 midnight.
 
Only essential services such as milk parlours, fruits, vegetables, grocery, medical stores and petrol pumps are exempted under this order. The order also stated that milkman and newspaper vendors are allowed to work from 6:30 am to 9:30 am. No person or vehicle will be allowed to enter or leave the district boundaries until the order is in effect. Those who wants to leave the city for some reason will have to take permission from the concerned police station.
 
The employees of industries producing essential services and medicines will be exempted after they get a pass from the divisional officer of the area concerned. All the employees are instructed to strictly follow the advisory. Banking services are also exempted under this order. Employees, who will work during the lockdown, might have to show their identity cards.
