Online booking of only necessary items should be done, social distancing rules must be followed and people should not be allowed to gather at a single place, said District Collector Tarun Pithode on Wednesday.
 
The Collector made the above statements while addressing a meeting of online vendors at the war room made in Bhopal Smart City office to prevent the spread of COVID-19. He said that each shopkeeper must avoid gathering of people near the shops and that only the necessary items including grocery, milk and vegetable should be sold during this period.
 
To provide door-to-door supply, the shopkeepers were instructed to reach SDM office of their respective area and obtain the pass from there. To obtain the pass, the shopkeeper will be asked to submit the name, ID and photo of the employees concerned. Representatives of Zomato, Swiggy, Ondoor, Reliance Fresh Store, Big Bazaar, super market, D-Mart and other agencies were also present at the meeting.
