Prabhatai Ojha Smruti Seva Sanstha is offering a helping hand to the needy persons as well as police personnel during lockdown that is in force in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak. Since March 29, the organisation’s kitchen is working full-time everyday to prepare meals and feed people in this critical lockdown period.
 
“We are distributing meals to people in need everyday with the help from Nagpur Police. We must extend special thanks to Dr Bhushan Kumar Upadhyay, Commissioner of Police; and Nilesh Bharne, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime),” stated a press release issued by Ramkishan Ojha, President, Prabhatai Ojha Smruti Seva Sanstha.
 
As per the press release, the Samiti intends to keep this kitchen running and continuing distribution of food packets till the situation stabilises so that no rightful citizen is deprived of basic meals. On Friday, the organisation distributed 400 food packets at Sitabuldi Police Station, and 30 packets at Pratap Nagar Police Station. The initiative is led by Ramkishan Ojha. The team rendering the noble service includes Pankaj Shah, Dr Manohar Muddeshwar, Dr Harish Rathi, Anil Deshmukh, chartered accountant Harish Bhoneja, Harjit Singh Bhatia, Vijay Bagani, Mahesh Kingrani, and Dinesh Acharya. The kitchen is handled by Govind Rathi and Suraj Sharma.
