Citizens can now order food online till 11 pm as Divisional Commissioner Kalpana Shrivastava has extended the working hours of the online food delivery by 2 hours. After the lockdown was imposed, Zomato and other restaurants were exempted to deliver food untill 9 pm but the administration extended the time in the wake of increasing online orders. As many as 200 new passes would be given to the delivery boys, the Commissioner said.
 
She also said that the companies, who were not using the passes, should return them. A meeting was held to prevent unnecessary encounter with police officials while the distribution of essential commodities and to discuss the distribution of new passes. Members of various associations, including petrol pump, gas agency and medical store, told the Commissioner about their problems and demanded more passes. President of Association of Medical Stores Lalit Jain said that the workers of medical stores are stopped by the police.
 
To which, Shrivastava directed the association to produce a list of all of their employees at the Bhopal Smart City office, and collect the passes from there. Talking about the problems of the employees of petrol pump owners, she said if the workers are found in their uniform, they will not be disturbed. The timing of Karond vegetable market has been extended by an hour. Earlier, the vegetables were auctioned between 6 am and 11 am. The mandi secretary will distribute passes to the farmers.
