Samarth to do indoor cycling for non-stop 48 hours

IN AN attempt to raise funds and fight against COVID-19, Dr Amit Samarth, an accomplished Ultracyclist of India will be riding cycle non-stop for 48 hours in his indoor cycling set up in Nagpur on May 2. Samarth has finished successfully 9100 km Trans Siberian Extreme race and 5000 kms Race Across America race. The ride is being done to raise funds for coronavirus pandemic.
 
The funds generated will be handed over to Maharashtra Police Department who are in forefront in the war against the deadly virus. Dr Samarth will use his state of art indoor cycling trainer for regular cycling training on different roads across the world. Cycling trainer and virtual cycling training App simulate exactly road-like conditions in indoor environment. The trainer simulates the ups and downs on the road just like real world. He will attempt to cycle more than 1300 kms in this 48 hours.
 
The cycling ride will be streamed live on the Facebook page of Dr Samarth in real time from his home. Dr Samarth is founder and director of ProHEALTH Foundation and Miles N Milers Endurance Sports Academy. He is also Brand Ambassador for Swach Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Campaign).
