Inspector General of Police (Jabalpur Zone), Bhagwat Singh Chouhan flagged-off ‘FIR Aapke Dwar’ service to facilitate complaints by registering FIR at people’s doorsteps and at the spot of incident from the police control room on Monday. State Home Minister Narottam Mishra inaugurated the new service at Police Headquarters, Bhopal and interacted online with senior officers. In the first phase, FIR Aapke Dwar service was started with FRV-19 of Civil Line and FRV-09 of Panagar.
 
Speaking on the occasion, IG Bhagwat Singh Chouhan informed that the new service will improve response time of police for providing prompt service to the complainants. Along with the head constable, additional deployment of higher rank officer will be made with the FRV staff. FRV staff will be given laptop or tablet and portable printer for online filing of FIR by accessing CCTNS and providing receiving of FIR to the complainant on the spot.The inauguration was followed by a meeting chaired by IG B S Chouhan at police control room while DIG (Jabalpur), Manohar Verma, Superintendent of Police, Siddharth Bahuguna, Additional SPs, CSPs and SHOs of different police stations attended the meeting.
