IPS officer and six other policemen, who fought against COVID-19 and were discharged from isolation ward after being cured, were accorded a rousing welcome at Police Control Room, on Wednesday. Police corona fighters were welcomed with flowers by senior officers and cops. Inspector General of Police (Jabalpur Zone), Bhagwat Singh Chouhan (IPS), DIG (Jabalpur), Manohar Verma (IPS), Superintendent of Police, Siddharth Bahuguna (IPS), Additional SP (City), Amit Kumar (IPS), Additional SP (City North), Agam Jain (IPS) and other gazetted officers and personnel welcomed the corona warriors.
 
It may be noted that CSP, Garha, Rohit Kashvani (Probationary IPS), Sub Inspector, Satish Jharia, Constables, Siddharth Shankar Pandey, Shiv Rai, Gopal Prasad, Giddu Singh and Hemant Pal were found infected with COVID-19 while performing their duties in maintaining law and order arrangements and implementing lockdown.
 
They were treated and discharged from isolation ward. Speaking on the occasion, Probationary IPS, Rohit Kashvani and other policemen expressed their gratitude towards senior officers for motivation and team of doctors for providing best medical services and cured them from the infectious disease. On the occasion, IG Bhagwat Singh Chouhan applauded the efforts of discharged policemen for their victory against COVID-19 and motivated the force to continue their dedicated services and taking precautionary measures for avoiding further spread of infection amongst them.
