Industries in Butibori, Hingna and Kalmeshwar should resume ops: Dr Raut

Dr Nitin Raut, Guardian Minister for Nagpur District has given directives to restart industrial units in Butibori, Hingna and Kalmeshwar. The industrial units were closed owing to the outbreak of the COVID-19. However, after remaining closed for almost one-and-half month, Government has given some relaxation to the industrial sector so that the production would not hamper and normalcy should be restored by taking proper precautions. Dr Raut took review meeting in Divisional Commissioner office to discuss the problems like industry, health and other issues.
 
Dr Sanjiv Kumar, Divisional Commissioner, Nagpur, Dr Bhushankumar Upadhyay, Commissioner of Police, Tukaram Mundhe, Municipal Commissioner, Ravindra Thakare, District Collector, Dr Sajal Mitra, Dean of GMC, Dr Ajay Kevlia, Dean of IGMC, Rakesh Ola, Superintendent of Police (Rural), Dr M Panchbhai of Agriculture College and others were present in the meeting. It was also decided to clean Nag river before the onset of Monsoon. The Health Department should spray pesticide to control the spread of air-borne and water-borne diseases. An awareness campaign should be implemented to control the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Adequate arrangement should be made for the treatment of COVID-19 patients. Dr Raut directed to take care of the animals in the Maharajbagh zoo.
