Work in Registrar office at Collectorate resumes amid precautionary measures

The work in office of the Registrar at the Collectorate resumed after a long gap since March 23 since lockdown has been imposed in the country. After a long time such a halt was witnessed in the property registration work in the district. In last days of the third phase of lockdown on May 15, the functioning for registry of rural and urban properties, plots, houses have been restored.
 
On day one after lockdown the office marked slow start with one or two people seeking submission of documents for the registry came. It may be recalled that on identification of four Corona Positive cases in Jabalpur on March 18 since then the curfew was imposed and in same condition the nationwide lockdown observed. Just after two day the third phase of the lockdown would be conclude and enter in fourth phase that is having some sort of facilities for the citizen.
 
In continuation to this system on Friday the district administration has given conditional permission to open the registry office. Everyone who are allowed to enter in registry office have to wear mask, maintain social distancing and hygiene. While officers and employees have to follow the guidelines issued for their prevention from corona virus.
