Food packets given to migrants in Shramik Express

Continuing with act of charity for the migrants traveling in Shramik Express returning back tot heir native places, 1,144 migrants who boarded Pune-Rewa train arrived at Jabalpur station. The migrants were offered hospitality at Jabalpur station. As on Saturday 10 Shramik Express trains passed through Jabalpur consequently some 12,000 migrant were given food packets and water bottles. According to information, the Jabalpur division of WCR continuing support for large number of migrants traveling in Shramik Express initiate their optimal efforts to provide food packets.
 
As Sr DCM Basant Kumar Sharma informed that in past two day a record number of migrants 65710 in 53 special train passing from Jabalpur were given food packets breakfast and diner at Jabalpur, Katni, Satna and Rewa stations of Jabalpur division. He informed, that distribution of food packets is being done in the Jabalpur division from the time of start of Shramik express trains going to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Assam states respectively.
 
The distribution of food packets is being done under the direction of DRM Jabalpur Sanjay Biswas by railway employees along with members of Scouts and guides, RPF and GRP. Migrants who get down at Jabalpur are made to thermal screening and following social distancing are made to exist from station.
