Ground work begins for State’s longest flyover

SOIL testing for construction of the State’s longest flyover has been started in Madan Mahal area, on Monday. Construction of the flyover is targeted to be completed within three years. Once the soil testing is completed, design of the flyover will be prepared for starting land acquisition and base construction works. Central road of the flyover will be 12.90 metre wide between Damoh Naka - Ranital - Madan Mahal. Ramp road between Ranital to Garha will be 414-metre long and width will be 8.40 metre. P&T Gate, No-2 to Malviya Chowk length will be 368 metres and 8.40 metre width.
 
Madan Mahal Railway Station, Platform No-3 side circulation area and Home Science College ramp roads will be 398 metre long and 8.40 metre wide. Madan Mahal Railway Station, Platform No-3 to Sneh Nagar ramp road will be 401- metre long and 8.40 metre wide and ramp road from Madan Mahal square to Mahanadda will This flyover will solve traffic problem in Adhartal, Anand Nagar, Kanchanpur, Adhartal Industrial Area, Agriculture College, Suhagi, Maharajpur, Amkhera, Ricchai Industrial Area, ISBT Karmeta, Vijay Nagar, Mother Teresa Nagar and Star City Panagar. Besides this, vehicles arriving from Sihora, Katni, Damoh, Katangi and Patan towards Jabalpur will be facilitated through the flyover
