Another fire incident; bakery in Russell Chowk gutted

A fire broke out in a bakery at Russell Chowk on Wednesday evening. The colossal fire accounted for loss of property worth around Rs2.5 lakh. Fire Department personnel had tough time to extinguish the fire as the shop was closed. Rescue work gathered momentum only after the shutter of the shop was dismantled by the team. According to information, property worth Rs 2.5 lakh was completely gutted on Wednesday evening at Russell Chowk when fire broke out in Pooja Bakery.
The immediate reason behind the fire was short circuit in the electric fitting of the shop. On Wednesday evening, the Fire Department personnel were informed about fire in Pooja Bakery.
Fire brigade was rushed to the spot. However with the shop closed, immediate operations were hampered and the fire dousing work could start resumed only after the shutter of the shop was broken. Bu this time, however, the shop was gutted. One fire brigade was deployed to douse the fire. The immediate reason behind the fire has been short circuit in the shop.
