With an aim to take stock of the situation in Milauniganj earmarked as containment area, Collector Bharat Yadav and SP Siddarth Bahuguna carried out extensive inspection of the area on Thursday late evening. They instructed officers present in the area to ensure optimal adherence to prohibition orders in the containment area. According to information, containment areas earmarked within Jabalpur have been issue of serious concern for administration with cases of COVID-19 still pouring in from hotspots as far as spread of virus is concerned. On Thursday late evening, Collector Bharat Yadav and SP Siddharth Bahuguna carried out intensive inspection of Milauniganj containment area.
In course of inspection, they interacted with local people from the area and appealed to them follow the prohibitory rules with discipline. Strict adherence of preventive steps will help their region to be de-recognised as containment area. In view of the fact that movement of people within the containment area has been completely banned, Collector Yadav sought information on supply of essential commodities to reasidents being confined under containment area.
Collector Yadav said that the strict observance by people to rules of containment area and co-operation to administration would make their area free from prevailing restrictions of containment zone. Collector Bharat Yadav visited the Sarafa area to inspect the temporary JMC office. He praised the efforts of officers and employees. He also appreciated the support to administration from residents of Sarafa area. CEO of District Panchayat Priyank Mishra also accompanied Collector Yadav and SP Siddarth Bahuguna during inspection of containment areas.
