124 priests, caretakers get ration kits

LOCKDOWN has proved cumbersome to people belonging to various sections of society but has left serious impact on religious priests and temple caretakers who were solely dependent on offering made by people. Temple priest and temple caretakers are not given any aid from the Government hence facing tough time. Taking gravity of the situation, Gopal Lalji Trust has initiated a move under which 124 priests and caretakers were given ration kits and cash at Jaynarayan auditorium of Samanvaya Seva Kendra.
 
The kits were distributed by maintaining social distancing. The 15-day ration distribution included flour, rice, sugar, tea leaves, edible oil, salt along with a sum of Rs 150 to fulfill their needs.On the occasion, Divisional Commissioner Jabalpur Mahesh Chandra Choudhary, Giriraj representing Gopal Lal Temple, Swami Akhileshwaranand Giri President of Samanvaya Parivar Trust Dr Kailash Gupta, Managing Trustee Dr Jitendra Jamdar, Chandrakumar Bhanot and others were present.
