AMRAVATI, FAREWELL was accorded to 75 members of healthcare team which had extended services in the ‘very risky’ COVID-19 Hospital here. At the same time, the fourth team was accorded grand welcome amid beating of bands at the COVID-19 Hospital. Special COVID-19 Hospital has been set up at the Divisional Super-Speciality hospital. A squad of about 100 healthcare staffers including doctors, nurses, ward boys, sanitation employees, technician and ambulance driver are working round the clock in the hospital. Three teams have been formed for extending services at the COVID-19 Hospital and each team has got a shift of 10-days after which they undergo institutional quarantine for 10 days.
 
The third team completed its 10 days shift on Monday and fourth team replaced them. After completing their shift warm farewell was accorded to the third team while a grand welcome was accorded to the new team amidst beating of bands and showering of flowers on them. Shailesh Nawal, District Collector and Dr Shyamsunder Nikam also attended the programme. Nawal interacted with the healthcare workers. All the people and dignitaries present on the occasion cheered healthcare teams with a round of applause.
