Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed profound grief over the death of labourers in a train accident near Aurangabad in Maharashtra. These labourers belong to Shahdol, Umaria and other districts of Madhya Pradesh.
He discussed about the accident with Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and also requested for maximum co-operation to help the labourers. Chouhan has directed officials to provide financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the deceased labourers.
CM arranges special plane for team to help injured: Chouhan arranged to send a special plane to Aurangabad to help the injured and other arrangements.
Minister Meena Singh along with Additional Chief Secretary and Incharge of Corona State Control Room I C P Keshari, a team of officers will fly to Aurangabad (Maharashtra) by special plane. Necessary permission for the flight has been obtained from the Ministry of Civil Aviation by Chief Minister Chouhan. The team will make arrangement for the funeral of the deceased and provide all possible help to the injured. CM Chouhan discusses funeral arrangements of deceased: The team of the State Government reached Aurangabad in Maharashtra by a special plane and discussed the situation with the Chief Minister over phone. Chouhan sought information about the injured as well as about the funeral arrangement of the deceased. The Chief Minister directed to provide Rs 1 lakh assistance to each person injured in the accident.
