AFTER more than two months of nationwide COVID-19 lockdown, people geared up to step outdoors on Monday albeit with restrictions. Amid spurt in number of Corona cases across India, life sprang back to relative normalcy in parts of India. Bus services across several States resumed on Monday including Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu.
 
Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) resumed its bus services on Monday after the Government lifted restrictions on the interstate and intrastate movements. Employees and officers rejoined work at State Secretariat on Monday following the orders of the Uttar Pradesh Government making attendance mandatory in all Government offices and secretariats.
 
All employees were allowed entry only after thermal screening. As per Government guidelines, authorities are calling the staff in staggered timings so that the work can be started smoothly while maintaining social distancing norms. People came out on the streets of Kolkata in large numbers with total disregard to social-distancingnorms,while trafficsnarl was noticed in many places as the lockdown relaxations come into effect in West Bengal on Monday.
