City youths win virtual quiz on International Olympic Day

Youngsters of Bhopal stood at the first three places in the quiz. Of these, Mubashir Khan bagged first position with 73 points. While Kritagya Sharma stood second with 72 points and Harshit Kumar stood third with 67 points 
 
In the ‘Virtual Olympic Quiz’ organised by the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare on the occasion of International Olympic Day on Tuesday, players of Bhopal emerged as winners. Apart from this, hockey sports activities were also organised in the State. The quiz was organised for the youth of the State from 11 am to 11.30 am on the day. Over 2,785 youngsters registered for the quiz, among which 67 percentage were male and 37 percentage were female participants.
 
A total of 607 youths submitted question papers giving the correct answers to the questions in the prescribed time frame of the quiz. In the quiz, 90 objective questions were asked on topics related to sports scenario of Ancient Olympics, Modern Olympics, India in Olympic Games, Madhya Pradesh in Olympic Games and Madhya Pradesh. A link was sent to each participant and the participant had to submit answers to 90 questions within 30 minutes. Youngsters of Bhopal stood at the first three places in the quiz. Of these, Mubashir Khan got the first position with 73 points.
 
While Kritagya Sharma was second with 72 points and Harshit Kumar was third with 67 points. Notably, the first prize winner will be awarded with cash prize of Rs 11,000, second position holder with Rs 5,500 and Rs 3,000 for the third place. On the occasion of International Olympic Day, around 700 players of boarding and day-boarding participated enthusiastically in the sports activities organised at all hockey feeder centres of the State.
