Madhya Pradesh has lowest corona growth rate in country

CM Chouhan reviews situation of corona and arrangements 
 
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the pace of corona infection is declining constantly in the state. The corona growth rate has come down to 1.43 per cent in the State as compared to Gujarat which has growth rate of 2.10 per cent, Rajasthan with 2.31 per cent, Maharashtra with 2.96 percent, West Bengal with 3.23 per cent, Uttar Pradesh with 3.82 percent and Tamil Nadu with 4.21 per cent. The growth rate of India is 3.63 per cent. Now, we have to move ahead for complete eradication of corona in the State. Chief Minister Chouhan strictly instructed that guilty people will not be spared in case of even slight negligence in the treatment of COVID patients in any hospital; strict action will be taken against them.
 
We have to save the lives of each and every corona patient. The Chief Minister was reviewing the situation of corona and arrangements in the state through video-conferencing at Mantralaya on Tuesday. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman and Principal Secretary Sanjay Shukla were present. Testing should be increased: Chief Minister Chouhan directed officials that we have to identify and treat each corona patient quickly, so that there is not a single death from corona in the state. For this, corona testing should be increased in the state. Currently, 23 labs are testing samples in the state. Our testing capacity is over 6,000 per day.
 
Datia becomes infection-free: During the review of Datia district, it has been found that 20 patients went home after the recovery in the district. Now Datia district has become completely infection-free. Similarly, Alirajpur and Umaria district have also become infection-free. Trace all first contacts: In the review of Chhindwara district, it has been informed that new 11 corona positive cases have been found there. The Chief Minister instructed that all the first contacts of the infected people should be traced and testing be done.
 
Risk of infection because of to and fro movement from Dhoulpur: It has been found during the review of Morena district that new 23 corona cases have surfaced in the district. In adjoining Dhoulpur district of Rajasthan, the infection is high and there is a risk of infection in to and fro movement from Dhoulpur. Chief Minister Chouhan directed that the public should be made aware in this regard. All necessary measures should be taken to prevent infection by holding meeting of Crisis Management Group.
