With 44 more people, including five Jawans who were deployed at Raj Bhawan, testing positive for Covid-19, the total tally in the State capital reached 2,774 on Friday. Bhopal CMHO Dr Prabhkar Tiwari told ‘The Hitavada’ that 94 patients have succumbed to the deadly contagion so far.
Five GMC nursing staffers, three residing in Koh-e-Fiza and two in TT Nagar, were found corona positive. Tehsildar (city circle) Devendra Choudhary said that five of 57 security personnel who were shifted to Mughaliya Chhap quarantine centre tested positive. BMC official, a resident of Talaiya area, was also found corona positive and a mother-son duo was found positive in Kotwali area, added Chaudhary. Four of a family were found corona positive in Shahjahanabad and a shop owner at medical-street has also contracted the virus, said Bairagarh Tehsildar Gulab Singh Baghel.
Meanwhile other cases were also detected in Anna Nagar (1), Habibganj (2), Kasturba Nagar (2), Saket Nagar (1), Gautam Nagar (1), Nehru Nagar (1) and Bairagarh (1). at Raj Bhawan, found corona +ve
