Bhopal, other parts of State get rains

For the entire day, Bhopal remained dry but during evening hours, sky got painted with clouds and within no time, rains started to drench the city. People enjoyed rainfall activity which provided much-needed relief from humidity. Now monsoon has started to pick up pace gradually in State. Rainfall is happening in isolated places of State.
 
In last twenty-four hours, rainfall lashed Badwah, Sonkuch, Dhar, Khategaon (11 cm each), Depalpur, Naugaon (10 cm each), Pansemal (9 cm), Badnagar, Panna (8 cm each), Bina, Katni, Mungawali, Tirla, Bainsdehi (7 cm each), Sendwa, Amla, Bioara (6 cm each) etc. In its forecast, Weather Department issued warning of heavy rainfall in a few pockets of Rewa, Singrauli, Sidhi, Chhattarpur, Tikamgarh, Ashok Nagar, Shivpuri, Datia and Betul districts respectively.
 
Rainfall and thunder activities are also likely in many places of Rewa, Sagar, Gwalior, Bhopal divisions and few places of Shahdol, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Indore and Ujjain divisions respectively. Thunder activities are likely in some parts of Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Rewa, Sagar divisions and districts including Khandwa, Khargone, Dewas, Guna, Ashok Nagar and Shivpuri. On Saturday, Bhopal recorded rainfall of 3.8 mm, Chhindwara (15 mm), Khajuraho (3.6 mm) etc. With rainfall activities resuming after the gap of a few days, entire Madhya Pradesh is having cloudy sky and rainfall is occurring in many places. People are hoping that in coming days, intensity of rains will get intense. So far there is no flood-like situation in any part of State.
