THE Chhattisgarh unit of Bharatiya Janata Party will be holding a mega virtual rally on Sunday to mark the occasion of completion of one year in office by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA Government in its second term. The State BJP has targeted to reach over 3 lakh party workers and approximately 10 lakh people through this mega virtual rally, which will be addressed by BJP National Vice President and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Addressing a joint press conference on Saturday, BJP State President Vishnu Deo Sai, National Vice President Dr Raman Singh, National General Secretary Saroj Pandey, former Minister Brijmohan Agrawal and galaxy of state-level leaders, it was stated that during this one year historic decisions was taken by the PM Modi led NDA Government like abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, implementation of Citizenship Amendment Act, Teen Talaq Act, smoothing the process of Ram Mandir construction, etc are such achievements which will be written in golden words. They said that the Bharatiya Janata Party had always believed in adopting innovation.
 
The party had always been committed towards building a new edifice over glorious old foundation. On the call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the party took the COVID-19 pandemic as an opportunity and by applying new technology took to digital platform successfully and amidst the present crisis, the party has been able to establish connect with party workers and office-bearers starting from national-level to grass-root booth and Shakti Kendra-level. At a time when social distancing is the rule of the day, the Bharatiya Janata Party became the only party in the world to establish connection with each and every party workers and office-bearer. On the directive of party central leadership the State BJP unit decided to celebrate the eventful first year of PM Modi led NDA Government in its second term in a unique way.
 
Accordingly, the party decided to launch a separate Jan Samvad campaign in all 11 Lok Sabha and 90 Assembly constituencies covering all 30 organisational districts in the State. Thus the party launched the Zila Jan Samvad campaign from June 14 which culminated on June 25. These campaigns were attended by lakhs of party workers and common people. The party has also completed Jan Samvad programme in all 11 Lok Sabha constituencies and 71 out of 90 Assembly constituencies. From the figures which came to fore the party has been able to connect with 11.75 lakh people till date.
 
On Sunday, June 28, the next but last Jan Samvad Programme will be conducted in a mega way. This has been designed as Chhattisgarh Jan Samvad which will be addressed by MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh apart from other state leaders. While the BJP party workers and office-bearers will be joining the virtual rally through Cisco Webex, people from different walks of life can join through various social media platforms like facebook, twitter, youtube, etc, where this will be telecast live.
