Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) members on Tuesday attempted to burn effigy of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in protest against delay in the appointment of teachers against the vacant posts and cancellation of recruitment in the Police Department. The BJYM alleged that the Chief Minister is following footsteps of leftist. The State Government had announced to appoint over 14,000 teachers and 2,200 police personnel. While there is an unnecessary delay in the appointment of teachers, cancellation is recruitment in police department is unfortunate.

BJYM State President Vijay Sharma said that unemployed youths in the state are forced to attempt suicide and Monday’s incident is burning example of the same. The BJYM demanded immediate resignation of the Chief Minister who, according to BJYM, is following ideas of leftist people. Sharma said that BJYM workers burned effigy of the Chief Minister across the state.

He said that the Chief Minister has forgotten its promise to give employment to five lakh youths and Rs 2500 as unemployment allowance. Sharma said that there was no food to eat in the house of Hardev who attempted suicide at CM House on Monday. Ironically, government is serving liquor to youths instead of giving them job.
