Congress observed ‘Black Day’ on completion of 100 days of collapse of Kamal Nath Government on Tuesday. Congress protested against BJP by alleging that BJP brought down elected government of Congress through money power and politics of deceit. At different places in State capital, several Congress leaders took part in demonstration by holding black flags in their hands and releasing black balloon in air. They raised slogans against BJP for toppling the elected government of Congress through temptation and politics of deceit. Congress workers and leaders in the leadership of ex-minister Sajjan Singh Verma observed the ‘Black Day’.

Sajjan Singh Verma told that BJP back stabbed the democracy by bringing down the elected Kamal Nath government. Recounting the successful schemes of previous Kamal Nath government, he alleged that after coming of Shivraj government, corona spread rapidly in State. In want of full fledged Cabinet, State suffered a lot. He also added that during corona crisis, Shivraj government did not make adequate arrangement for immigrant labourers, farmers, middle class and poor.

He said that people will give befitting reply to BJP in upcoming Assembly by-elections on 24 seats. Another protest was held by ex-Minister P C Sharma and his followers. The demonstrating Congress workers also burnt the effigy of BJP.
