Suspense continues over the final date of Cabinet expansion. Earlier, it was being fathomed that expansion may take place on Wednesday but things remained in mess, henceforth, Cabinet expansion got delayed till further development. It looks that BJP government and its top leadership is contemplating on ifs and buts while going ahead to clear the names. Most probably, Cabinet expansion may take place on Thursday or Friday.

Earlier, there was no final programme of incharge Governor Anandiben Patel to reach Bhopal, but later in the night, news came that incharge Governor will reach Bhopal on Wednesday noon. With this, one thing got clear that Cabinet expansion is going to take place shortly. Likewise, earlier news came that Jyotiraditya Scindia will come to Bhopal by special plane on Wednesday but later message came that he will reach Bhopal either late Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

This is a harbinger that Cabinet expansion may take place on Thursday or Friday. In the meantime, after arrival from New Delhi, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reportedly hinted that Cabinet expansion is not going to take place at least on Wednesday. Sources said that BJP’s top leadership is taking time in clearing the names and this is the reason that Cabinet expansion is getting delayed every passing day. The buzz is this that in Cabinet expansion, Scindia’s loyalist (at least six) are likely to become minister and CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan wants that some of his faithful should be also included in the Cabinet. Names of Bhupendra Singh and Rampal Singh are being taken in this regard.
