Nagpur schools excel in ICSE results

The schools in Nagpur, namely; The Chanda Devi Saraf School (CDS), MSB Education Society and Marie Poussepin’s Academy excelled in Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ICSE), the results of which declared on Friday. CDS has 51 students scoring 90 per cent and above, while 15 students each of MSB and Marie Poussepin’s Academy are the top scorers. Mohammed Sunelwala of MSB Education Society scored 99.2 per cent and shared topper position with Shreyans Katariya of CDS School in Vidarbha.
 
Both worked hard and did focussed study. Mohammed Sunelwala was also the Head Boy of school. Parul Tabhane, a student of CDS School stood topper among girls in the region by scoring 99 per cent. She is overall second in Vidarbha. Another boy Aditya Jajoo, a student of CDS school scored 98.8 secured third position in Vidarbha.
 
More boys appeared for both ICSE and ISC exams. The CISCE examinations were scheduled for February and March, got postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. The remaining examinations were expected to be conducted in July. But with the rise in number of coronavirus cases the examinations were cancelled. Because of internal assessment, in case a student is not satisfied, he or she can have the option to appear again in the examinations on a later date as fixed by the respective district authority taking all precautions. Result is now available on — cisce.org, results.cisce.org. The students can also check the result via SMS.
