“It is because of the continuous inspiration, guidance and encouragement from my teachers and principal; I could achieve success in Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) examinations. I also would like to attribute my success to my parents who worked very hard to make me stand strong in education,” says Mohammed Sunelwala, a topper of 10th Standard ICSE from MSB Educational Institute. He secured 99.2 per cent and stood joint topper. He was was Head Boy in the school. Sunelwala tells, “Principal of MSB Educational Institute, Dr Raziya Husain is a driving force for all students and teachers.

It is because of the environment provided by my institute under her able guidance, I have achieved success.” “My teacher, Hatim Ali Hussain has specially guided me. It is because of him and other teachers; I could score 99 marks in four subjects and 100 marks in the fifth one.” Mohammed has scored 496 marks out of 500 in ICSE Class 10th examination conducted by The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi, of which the results have been declared on Friday.

There is always a craze to become a doctor or engineer seen in students. Mohammed is an exception to this general trend. He says, “I would like to go for science stream in 11th and 12th and then would like to pursue my education in commerce. After doing B.Com I would like to take Chartered Accountant’s course.” Speaking very high about his father and mother, Mohammed says, “My father Mustafa Sunelwala is an owner of a hardware shop named Raj Hardware Stores located in Nanvanvan Colony.

My mother Rashida Sunelwala is a housewife. I have learnt the lessons of life from both of them. I have an elder brother who is pursuing BBA in Ambedkar College. Both of my parents are working hard and their perseverance, struggle and dedication are the guiding lights for me.” “My parents and my teachers have encouraged me in self-improvement and self-evolution. MSB Educational Institute is different from other schools because, here, management, principal and teachers are continuously focusing on students for their improvement and they are encouraging students not to become job-seekers but to become job-providers,” he adds.
