Markets wear deserted look due to Saturday lockdown

 Shops of New Market remained closed in the State capital on Saturday.

The markets witnessed deserted looks as shops remained closed on Saturday. District administration has allowed shops excluding essential ones like medical shops to function only five days in a week, from Monday to Friday. However, in some parts of city including six number stop, shops remained opened till evening hours.
 
Bhopal in last few days has shown steady rise in cases of corona. From last few days, Bhopal is dishing out more than 100 corona cases daily. This is the reason that district administration decided to become strict. Now, State Government has decided that in normal days, shops will now remain opened till 8 pm instead of 10 pm.
 
The fresh curbs are likely to increase problem of people and make business of shopkeepers and traders to suffer. However, all agree that the manner corona is spreading its tentacles, curtailment in relaxation was necessary. New Market, which is one of the big market place of the State capital, remained closed totally on Saturday.
