THE LIVE International webinar was organised by Rungta Dental College Bhilai, under the aegis of Sanjay Rungta Group of institutions. The center of the webinar was focused on effective tobacco cessation methodologies for higher quit rate-why, where, what &how? The webinar was attended by eminent speaker from across the globe. Approximately 500 members are participated from across the country, and approximately 20 participants from different countries.
 
Keynote speaker Dr Akshay Dhobley associate professor director –mind & mouth therapeutics. He specializes in tobacco cessation therapies, a trained counselor holding MDS(MS) in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.
 
 
The programme was inaugurated by Sanjay Rungta, the chairman of the institution. The webinar has outlined the much talked about and important topic of today and made people aware. The Dean of the college Dr Sudhir Pawar said that this online webinar provides the awareness of the tobacco cessation and acknowledgement to the participant for the counseling of tobacco habituated patients in their daily life practice. Dr Siddharth Pundir emphasised on the need for tobacco cessation and its inclusion in routine dental practice. Key note speaker Dr Akshay hobley presented a topic methodologies for higher quit rate why, where, what & how to counsel the patients in their daily life practice.
 
Dr Dilip Gadewar addressed as well as discussed, few points of the programme. Few minutes for queries and discussion session have been done. Conclusion and remarks were given by Dr Sudhanshu Dixit. The Vice Dean of the college, Dr Jaideep sur also addressed & congratulated the core team. Vote of thanks was given by Dr MD Vikhasuddin. Event was cordinated by Dr Anshuman kumar, Dr Ankit jain , Dr Manish Jain and Dr Jyothi kottur played vital role.
