Bike rider caught with over Rs 17 lakh hawala money

During vehicle checking drive late on Monday night, Hanumanganj police caught a bike rider who was in possession of hawala money of more than Rs 17 lakh. Now police are gathering other information about the accused and trying to know about his links. Police personnel were carrying out special vehicle checking drive at Nadra Bus Stand when a bike rider was stopped by a cop. The bike rider identified himself as Rajesh Pal, resident of Jahangirabad locality.
 
He was asked to furnish the documents of vehicle which he failed to do so. Suspecting something fishy, cops checked the chassis number and engine number and found that chassis number was changed one. Bike rider Rajesh Pal could not give any satisfactory answer in this regard. In the meantime, Rajesh Pal was making efforts to hide the bag he was carrying.
 
When cops checked the bag, they found that bah contained huge cash of Rs 17,54,700. Again Rajesh Pal failed to give any satisfactory reply regarding possession of huge cash. Finally, accused was apprehended and case was filed against him.
