District admn planning to reduce sampling to curb cases In a bid to curb spread of coronavirus, the district administration and Health Department have come up with a new plan. Sources in district administration have confirmed that to reduce number positive patients, the administration has planned to reduce sampling. Also, instead of health workers, ASHA workers have been given the responsibility to trace and identify suspects of coronavirus. The nightmare does not end here, ASHA and Anganwadi workers have also been given the job of contact tracing of those who came in contact with positive Covid-19 patients. This new system has raised eyebrows over the modus operandi of the district administration to combat Covid-19 pandemic.
