In a routine exercise in change of deployment, ‘A Company’ of Chhattisgarh Armed Force’s (CAF) 12th battalion deployed in insurgency-hit Bijapur district has been shifted to state capital. As per the directives of Director General of Police (DGP) D M Awasthi, A company of CAF 12th battalion has been shifted to the state capital from Bijapur and it has been replaced by ‘A Company’ of CAF 13th battalion, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (Lines) Mani Shankar Chandra. DSP Chandra further informed that as the force arrived here, the security personnel have been detailed about the duties and situation in the Raipur.
