COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) compliance strict monitoring was done in containment areas. More barricades were placed in roads and commuters were checked at check points. BMC squad was also seen along with police officials penalising commuters for not wearing masks. People have been asked to come out only for essential services and trespassers stringent checking is done.
 
New standard operating procedure (SOP) which includes implementing social distancing and a token system at stores introduced in the wake of coronavirus pandemic. This includes implementing social distancing and a token system at stores. Besides even in medical shops and petrol pumps under the new SOP that suggests retailers to prefer digital payments and reduce cash transaction and maintain social distancing.
 
This may also need reskilling of employees and for that awareness is being done in total lockdown. In some areas petrol pump personnel were seen without masks for which they were penalised. One of the shops found working behind the shutters in Aishbagh. Shops were also sealed in old city for flouting norms.
