Congress has started to build pressure on BJP Government over many issues. In a fresh such attempt, it demanded that State Government should immediately implement 27 per cent reservation given to OBC by previous Congress government.

This reservation card played by Congress is certainly going to ruffle the feathers of Government. Interacting with mediapersons, State Congress Media Incharge and ex-minister Jitu Patwari, ex-minister Kamleshwar Patel, ex-minister Sachin Yadav, MLA Dilip Singh Gurjar, ex-Mayor Vibha Patel pressed for the aforesaid demand and said that Congress party will deploy its advocate in court to do argument on rights of backward class. They said that SC, ST and OBC form 86 per cent of total population of State.

Of them, OBC alone forms 54 percent of total population. When Congress came to power, it increased OBC reservation from 14 per cent to 27 per cent. Since BJP formed its Government, it overturned many decisions of previous government. But unlike other works, the work done to increase reservation to OBC should not be sacrificed. They demanded that State Government should plead strongly for OBC reservation in the High Court.
