Lockdown for 2 days a week in districts with high infection

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a total lockdown will be imposed for two days in a week in districts with high infection to stop spread of corona infection in the State. Apart from essential services, all other activities will be prohibited. Lockdown will be imposed on Sunday, the second day, either Saturday or Monday will be decided as per the decision of the District Crisis Management Group. Night curfew will be imposed in all districts from 8 pm to 5 am.
 
He said that excluding infection-free districts, all the offices of the State and Union Government will function with 30 to 50 per cent capacity, cent percent officers will reach offices. Private offices and commercial establishments will also function with 30 to 50 per cent capacity. In case of any corona patient found at private offices and commercial establishments, they will be closed for 7 days.
 
He was reviewing the situation of corona and arrangement in the State through video-conferencing at Mantralaya on Monday. Ministers Dr Narottam Mishra, Vishwas Sarang, Dr Prabhuram Chaudhary, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Mohammad Suleman, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) S N Mishra were present.
