As the festival of siblings Raksha Bandhan is round the corner, preparations are in full swing to mark the festivity but this time with complete precautions against COVID-19 pandemic. Markets have been decked up with the Rakhis and other festival stuff in the State capital. People have started visiting markets at different places while also taking precautionary measures against COVID-19 during shopping. Customers on Tuesday were seen wearing face masks and shopping in the street at New Market and 10 Number Market. City markets are stocked up with designer and customised Rakhis.
 
From cartoon character to the pearled rakhis are in trend and mostly being demanded by the buyers. A wide variety of colourful Rakhis embedded with precious stones are available in the markets. The unconditional love of sister and brother will be cherished on the pious festival Raksha Bandhan on August 3, 2020.
 
Thus, people have started their preparations at homes. Several makeshift stalls displaying colourful threads can also be seen at every nook and corner. While many other people with an eye on extra care in this pandemic have changed their trend of buying Rakhis and gifts.
