Pointing out the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, District Magistrate and Collector Bharat Yadav has released order for increasing timing of night curfew from 7.30 pm to 5 am from the earlier time of 10 pm to 5 am from July 21. Besides this, total lockdown will be carried out for two days every week. Separate orders will be released after discussion with district crisis management team for lockdown on Sunday and Saturday or Monday.
 
According to the amended order, markets and shops will be closed from 7:30 pm till 5 am. Exempting the Central and State Government Departments, PSU and private offices and institutions engaged in essential services, all the other offices and institutions will be operated with 50 per cent employees’ strength. Government Offices will work with full strength. Revenue departments will work with full strength till any unavoidable circumstances. In case of finding COVID-19 positive person at any Government or private institution, senior officers of Public Health and Family Welfare Department will take necessary action as per specified protocol.
 
Finding of COVID-19 person at any shopping complex or shop, such institution or shop will be immediately closed and Incident Commander and Health Department will monitor the situation to ensure implementation of the protocol. According to the orders of Central and State Governments pertaining to COVID-19 management, legal action will be taken against people not using face mask, not maintaining social distancing and participation of more than specified numbers of persons at any marriage, private programme or funeral programme. In case of violation of prohibitory orders, action will be taken against the offender under Sections 51 and 60 of Disaster Management Act 2005 and Section 188 of IPC.
