Two caught with country-made revolvers

Two youths in police custody. They were caught along with two country-made revolvers.

Teelajamalpura police arrested two miscreants along with fire arms. Both have been booked under the Arms Act. Police said that informer passed the information that a youth named Naseem is in possession of illegal fire arm and is seen at Berasia Bus stand area. Police team acted swiftly and reached the spot. When cops reached at the spot, Naseem started to flee but he was caught by cops after a small chase. Accused Naseem told that he resides in Housing Board Colony of Nishatpura area. On being frisked, cops recovered a loaded country-made revolver of 315 bore.
He was booked under Arms Act. In interrogation, Naseem told that he had hidden four sharp knives behind a almirah in his house. Moreover, he told that a few days back, he had sold a country-made revolver along with one cartridge to Doraha resident Mujeem. He stated that Mujeem had currently come to meet his brother-in-law in Housing Board Colony of Nishatpura.
A hunt was launched by cops to search Mujeem. Mujeem was arrested from Kazi camp area and country-made revolver with one live cartridge was recovered from his possession. Naseem is having a criminal history and he was released after serving seven years jail term.
