79 people win battle against COVID-19, return home safely

AS MANY as 79 COVID-19 patients were discharged from different hospitals in Bhopal on Wednesday. Out of these 79 patients, nine were discharged from Hamidia Hospital, 7 from Pt Khushilal Government Ayurvedic Hospital and remaining 54 from Chirayu Hospital. Notably, one patient each of Hoshangabad and Mandla were among those discharged, two were from Sagar and three patients were from Maharashtra. Director of Chirayu Hospital Dr Ajay Goenka suggested the patients to stay home quarantined for seven more days and to take medicines on time. Dr Goenka also asked the patients to follow every norm of social distancing and to prevent contracting the viral infection again.
 
He added that corona infection can be avoided only by taking precautions and the recovering patients are example of how treatment of coronavirus is possible.Nodal Officer of Pt Khushilal Ayurvedic Hospital Dr PC Sharma gifted masks and sanitisers to patients. Dr Sharma said, it is necessary to pay more attention to the asymptomatic COVID-19 patients and to those exhibiting mild symptoms. They do not show signs of coronavirus infection and thus inadvertently became carriers of the infection.
