JMC leaving no stone unturned to check water-logging this year

JABALPUR Municipal Corporation (JMC) is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that they do not receive many complaints pertaining to water-logging this year. Following the directives of Divisional Commissioner and Administrator JMC Mahesh Chandra Choudhary and Municipal Commissioner Anup Kumar Singh, officers from Health Department carried out extensive inspection in colonies considered highly vulnerable for water-logging in zone number 1, 2, 5, 7, 9, 13, 14 and 15.
 
A team of Health Department carried out inspection at various colonies and instructed ground staffers to put maximum efforts to ensure that under no circumstances should there be any complaints of water-logging. The team of Health Department accompanied along with ground staff along with JCB machines swung into action.
 
At Suhagi of zone number 15 laying of pileline to release rain water is being laid. It is informed that after the pipeline laying work is completed, over a dozen of colonies under Suhagi Housing Board Society will get a permanent solution to the grave problem of water-logging. The area was visited by Chief Health Officer Bhupendra Singh, who apprised the JMC Commissioner on progress of work. The Health Department team also inspected Adhartal, Abdul Hamid ward, Bhantalliya, Ghamapur, Ranital, Garha Phatak, Damohnaka, Raddi Chowki and other areas.
