Dr Holi alleges negligence in construction of gharkuls

Gadchiroli, Gadchiroli MLA Dr Deorao Holli called on District Collector Deepak Singla and discussed with him about the gharkuls in urban areas under Pradhanmantri Aawas Yojna (PMAY). The scheme has been started by the Central Government with an objective to provide gharkuls to every person by 2022 but even after two three years this scheme has not been implemented properly and the beneficiaries are deprived of the gharkuls, pointed out Dr Holi during the meeting.
The difficulties in the task of gharkul construction were also discussed. Th process of city survey has been started in Gadchiroli, it was told by the Municipal Council authorities. It was demanded in the meeting that the problem of zudpi jungle in Gokul Nagar area be resolved and gharkuls be constructed immediately.
The gharkuls should also be sanctioned to those whose annual income is below Rs 3 lakhs, demanded Dr Holi. He also alleged that there is quite negligence in the construction of gharkuls in Chamorshi.
