JMC teams conduct surprise inspection at many places, issue notices to erring people

In order to check possible spread of malaria, dengue and other seasonal diseases, special teams of Health Department of Jabalpur Municipal Corporation conducted surprise inspection at several places and issued notices to erring people and also realised fine. Special teams are conducting surprise inspection at hospitals, hotels, malls, Government offices, commercial establishments, hostels, houses etc and checking existence of mosquito larvae in coolers and containers having stagnant water.
Accordingly, the teams conducted inspection under the supervision of senior officials of JMC at several places. They found innumerable mosquito larvaes in coolers and other such things. Officials realised fine from erring people.
They also asked people to clean coolers and other things and ensure that larvae must not grow again. The district administration has recently directed to constitute teams to ensure mosquitoes larvae do not grow and spread of diseases due to mosquitoes could be checked. Hence, JMC administration has formed teams to conduct surprise inspection at aforementioned places and take strict against people if mosquito larvae are found at any places.
