 People flock grocery shop flouting social distancing norms.

Ahead of the ten-day intensified lockdown in Bhopal city, vegetable markets and shops were crowded by residents on Thursday. Long queue of customers were seen in standing in front of vegetable markets like DMart in Hoshangabad road, Kolar road etc.
 
They went upto the market to stock essential items. Guatam Kishore, a college student who stays in a rented room, said that a large number of people started visiting shops since Thursday morning because of which they had to return empty hand from indoor grocery mart in Saket Nagar. But there is no need for concern during this intensified lockdown as there would be no shortage in supply of groceries, the shop vendor said. The prices of vegetables had also shot up on Thursday at Kolar suburbs.
 
Rithik Ahuja, another local resident, said that the prices of vegetables like lady’s finger, carrot and potato had also risen. Sajad Khan, another resident from old city, said that due to lack of clarity on functioning of meat and fish shops, many customers visited the meat markets. Old city witnessed huge rush of customers . Social distancing norms were flouted in many areas as city markets witnessed huge rush.
